I don't know about buying land...anything toward PV is going to expensive. And if you consider the kids from the outskirts of Norton and Blackwood, Pizza Hut isn't in the middle. Take a look at that map, the center is closer to Kent Junction.

If you start at West Norton and just this side of Jasper you land at Pizza Hut.

If you are going to start measuring from Norton due to the kids from West Norton who attend Appy, then you need to count the kids from down in Scott County (which once included my 2 sons) who go to PV and they extend nearly to Duffield. In fact my sons lived within 3 miles of Duffeild and attended PV for a time. So here is what that would look like:

But, as I said earlier, the real way to tell is to look at a topo map and make a circle of it. It comes out just about Pizza Hut or more accurately where the old Robbie's market was.

Does the county currently run a bus in Scott County? Has Scott County asked about joining the Wise County school system? Has Norton asked about joining the county schools?

My sons lived on the road that you take a left turn on just across the George Dalton Bridge, right at the dumpsters and the flea market where I sell. All the way to the back of that road, and yes they sometimes rode a bus. Had to walk over a hill to catch it, but only about a 3 minute walk.

As of now Norton is a city school, that is as likely to remain that way as not.

Starting center on one of PV's state title teams also lived on that road. About 4 miles this side of Duffield. If you're going to count West Norton, then you have to count them too.
